This policy describes how personal information is processed when you visit or shop with NorthPlus or contact customer service.

2. Information we process

  • Contact and order information: name, email, telephone number where provided, billing and delivery addresses, ordered items and payment transactions.
  • Account information if you use a customer account.
  • Communications relating to enquiries or returns.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser, device, access time, pages viewed, cookies and consent choices.

Please do not send diagnoses or other health information unnecessary for your enquiry. Payment providers process full card details; we receive the payment information needed to fulfil your order.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process order, payment and communication information to enter into and perform a contract under Article 6(1)(b). We comply with legal retention and record-keeping obligations under Article 6(1)(c). Security, fraud prevention and reliable shop operation are based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Consent-dependent advertising and optional analytics rely on Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time for future processing.

4. Recipients and Shopify

Our shop runs on Shopify. We work with Shopify, payment providers, shipping and fulfilment providers, and hosting and technical service providers. They receive the information needed for their roles. Information may be shared with authorities where legally required or to establish or enforce legal claims.

Shopify processes information to provide and secure its services and may act as an independent controller for certain purposes. See Shopify’s privacy policy and privacy portal.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Essential cookies and similar storage support the basket, checkout, security and saving privacy choices. Optional advertising technologies require consent where applicable, including in the UK. You can change your choices through the shop’s privacy settings. Deleting or blocking cookies in your browser may affect essential shop functions.

Where services are enabled and required consent has been obtained, advertising partners such as Google or Meta may process technical identifiers and usage events for audience measurement, advertising performance or personalised advertising. See the privacy information from Google and Meta. Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

6. International processing

Our company is based in the United States. Shopify and other providers may process information outside your country, including outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where applicable data protection law requires it, transfers must rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or suitable contractual safeguards. Contact info@trynorthplus.com for information about relevant recipients and safeguards.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described. Legal obligations may require longer retention of contract and payment records. Information is then deleted or anonymised unless there is a lawful reason to retain it. Consent records may be kept as evidence of your choices.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict processing and receive portable data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances, and to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent. Email info@trynorthplus.com to exercise your rights or raise a privacy complaint. We may request reasonable proof of identity. You may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator in your country, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or Australia’s Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.

Information needed to fulfil an order must be provided for us to process it. This policy does not establish an agreement to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

9. Additional choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to opt out of sharing for personalised advertising. See Your privacy choices for regionally available options. Our shop is not specifically directed at children.

10. Changes and questions

We update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current version appears here. You may also use our contact form for privacy questions; provide only the information necessary for your enquiry.
